INSTRUCTIONS FOR ORDERING AN AUDIO OF CHAPTER 7 OR CHAPTER 11 MEETING OF CREDITORS

Go to the website for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Alabama. Complete the Audio Hearing Request Form found under the top right tab on the home page – “Forms”.  Please note that although the form states there is a $32.00 charge for an audio request, the charge does not apply to a request for a chapter 7 or 11 meeting of creditors audio. However, to avoid the charge, you must file the Audio Hearing Request Form under the correct event in CM/ECF as follows:

• Click the Bankruptcy Tab
• Go to Other/Miscellaneous
• Go to the event named “Request for Audio of Chapter 7/11 Meeting of Creditors”
• Upload the Audio Hearing Request Form

Once the Audio Hearing Request Form is filed, the Bankruptcy Administrator’s Office will be notified, and the audio will be prepared. Depending on the size of the file, the audio will be emailed within two business days to the email listed on the form, or a CD will be prepared, and you will be contacted when the CD is ready for pick up at the BA’s office located on the 5th floor of the Campbell Courthouse, 113 St. Joseph St., Ste. 520, Mobile, AL 36602.
